Must Know Information About Our Move

Thank you for your encouragement, understanding and patience since we first announced that the Trolley Car Table Tennis Club will move to a new space within the Falls Center. We are especially excited for this new chapter in our Club’s life, knowing we have the support of our members and players.

Our contractors have been working hard to get the space ready and we are happy to report that we are ready to move forward. Our last day of play at our current facility will be Sunday, April 16th. On Monday April 17th, we will have a Volunteer Moving Day (AND PIZZA PARTY!) from 6-10pm to expedite the relocation process. We will be opening the new space fully renovated and equipped, with the exception of our PVC Flooring, which is scheduled to arrive and be installed in mid May.

Assuming we are able to recruit a solid group of volunteers, we will open our new space for play on Tuesday April 18th at 6pm. If you are able to help, please sign up at the Club or by emailing

All members must remove their personal belongings from the office and/or Club by Sunday April 16th. Any items remaining will be discarded on Monday, April 17thin the morning.  Your personal items will not be moved to the new space!

We are selling 4 tables and nets at $500 each. If purchased, tables need to be picked up at the Club on Monday April 17th. Please email Ken as soon as possible if you are interested in one or more of the tables.

Finally, see below for a map and directions to our new space.

Thank you again.  We look forward to seeing you at the all new Trolley Car!

P.S.  We are seeking two more volunteer supervisors for Saturday andSunday mornings, 9am – 1pm to expand our open play hours.  Supervisors get free annual membership and all the perks that annual members receive such as key privileges and use of the table tennis robot.  Please let me know if you are interested.

Table Tennis Club Map 2017

We are excited to share with you that Trolley Car Table Tennis Club will have a new home at The Falls Center starting on or around April 17th, 2017. Due to a change in our lease, the Club will be moving to a new location, on the south side of the property. This former bowling alley will have higher ceilings, new PVC flooring, more visibility and direct access to the outside where we plan to create a patio lounge for our members.

However, as with most changes, this move does not come without some challenges. Due to less square footage, the new space will have fewer tables than our current site. As you can see on the floor plan below, we will have six tables plus one robot table. The robot table will be reserved for annual Club members and supervisors only. We are creating new Club rules to increase table turn-over and ensure minimal wait times for all players. We welcome any suggestions you may have to achieve this goal.

Our contractors will begin renovating the new space immediately, while still maintaining our current location on the 2nd floor. Open Play will continue as normal, as well as the PA State Championships which will be held on April 8th and 9th. We will be working hard to ensure that this transition is as smooth as possible and will be updating you regularly regarding our progress. Thanks for your support and understanding during this time. We look forward to sharing our new space with you so the sport of table tennis in the Philadelphia region can continue to grow and thrive.
